Sharing stories of God’s redemptive work all over Africa in the hopes of seeing Christ-centered, reproducing, culturally-appropriate churches formed among African Peoples.

We’ve been living on the African continent since 2017 (currently in South Africa, previously in Kenya), using our skills in photography (which is Jordan’s expertise), videography, and writing actual stories (which is Kristin’s forte) to produce compelling stories that connect those who ‘go’ with those who send them, encourage the hearts of those who pray and give, and mobilize the global church to missions.

In the fall of 2019, when we we stepped into the lead role with the AIM Stories ministry, we immediately began to feel the Lord nudging us to expand our reach as a storytelling team. It seemed crazy – how could we do that when our team was so small? We had our doubts. But thank goodness the Lord is so darn faithful in continuing to use broken vessels like us! At the beginning of  2021 He made it abundantly clear that he was calling us to move to South Africa. So we packed up our life in Kenya (after having been there for four years) and began the process of applying for visas. We moved our family to South Africa at the beginning of 2022 and it’s been one incredible journey. With our move, the AIM Stories team went from being a centrally-located team based in Nairobi, to an expanded team with media correspondents based throughout Africa and the diaspora! That’s incredibly humbling and exciting. We get to use storytelling as an art-form to glorify God and mobilize more believers into missions, how amazing is that?!
